What age do quail chicks go outside?

I have a pair of 3-week-old quail chicks that seem to be well feathered, I live in Florida and the daytime temperature averages out at about 80° f while night is about 72° Fahrenheit. My issue is that I'm unsure if their feathered enough to go out and there's no way for me to run electrical out to The Coop that I'm going to be keeping them in. The lighter colored one had some medical issues before but she's doing fine now, her feathers are a bit brittle which is something else that worries me

I am in Texas.
I usually put my quail outside with no heat this time of year by day 3.

Plenty feathered enough to go outside with no heat at this age and temp.

Heat lamps can cause permanent feather loss in quail once they are fully feathered….they are fine outside without heat at this age and especially in your area

i personally think 2 weeks is a good age. if they ever get too cold they can huddle up together to stay warm.

At those temps, there's no problem putting them outside. I put my 3.5 week olds out a few days ago. It's up in the high 80s during the day and low to mid 50s at night. They're fine.
