What age do young roosters begin to crow?

My roosters are now 2 months old. Still no crowing.

It is a frequently asked question. But the answer is different for every rooster. Some won't crow even at 20-25 weeks.

Most of mine started at 3-4 months.

My bantams started at about 7 weeks.

My RIR started a few weeks later, maybe around 10 weeks? Some don't crow for much longer though, it all depends on the individual bird.

One of my two buff orp roos started crowing at about 15-18 weeks. It's so funny when they first start to listen to them learning how to crow!

I had one little bantam roo start crowing when he was 2 weeks old, and I have a 6 month old silkie roo who has not crowed. It varies.

Just depends on the roo my buff orphington roo i had up till 5 months old didnt crow once but had to get rid of it before it started
