What age is best when introducing hand reared chicks to older flock.

😬 I’m thinking until the 4 week old chicks are like 4 months. Just so you don’t run into over mating.😬 But maybe someone else will have a better suggestion.🤷🏽‍♀️
Thanks for that. I just wasn't sure. My last hatch was by my broody hen and she mingled her bubs from a couple of weeks .My new chicks have daily outings and all my chooks free range so they have seen each other from a distance.
 
I'm confused. You have an 8-week old "hen", four 4-week old chicks, and an 18-month old rooster? Something's not right. How old is that hen? At 8 weeks, it's just a chick. Help!

The first fella was a nasty Rooster. He attacked and ripped my mother-in-laws leg open. I had to walk with a stick to make sure he didn't attack me. He went to the market. The photo here is my Cornelius. The red one in my profile is his brother Frizzy. Both the same age, out oof the same hatching and are Frizzle x Isa Brown.
