what age should wings be clipped?

They are 9 weeks old and starting to molt so I'm guessing I will have to do it again in a few weeks. I can't wait to see Flynn with his big boy colors.

I have 3 mallards and 2 Pekins that are around 7-8 weeks old. They are about fully feathered and I've been worrying about clipping their wings but I wasn't sure when was a good time. I've also been considering letting them free range during the day and I would LOVE any advice on that

I watched YouTube videos last night. After seeing it done I had more confidence. Just make sure the feathers no longer have blood in them.
