Sorry I am just going by what I was told from a guy who raised and still raises bobs.
Any age of ANY type of quail are gong to fight. Mixing chickens, pheasants, ducks, what have you...and flocks fight. It is not just a Bobwhite thing. Bob's tend to be more aggressive than other quail, but you can mix your poultry together if it is done right.
