What age to rehome rooster

Thanks you aart for having my back . It would be nice if we all took the time to read the post BEFORE correcting the person and giving advice ,

We are all guilty of it ,
Let’s just try to be friends
@snow5164 your post could have been easily misread tho... @bobbi-j was just insuring that no one did misunderstand.

That post gave me pause too.....but it does say "then".

Here's some more details on quarantine:

Thanks for pointing that out, Aart, and for posting the article on medical quarantine.

I actually did take the time to read. Twice. Missed the “then” both times. Sorry.

Exactly. Thank you.

Yes, yes it’s all good . I’m out trying to load cattle so I missed all the drama ..

Good , we understand each other .

Have a nice day , I hope I survive these crazy cows , makes me like my chickens even better when I’m pushing a 1000 pound cow up a ramp

OP, I would get that boy there sooner rather than later. The older rooster may not see him as a threat yet. That will likely change as he gets older.

I have decided to let the person who is taking the rooster to let make the decision. I have contacted my friend (her dad is taking the rooster) to see what he would like to do. I'm already sad thinking about the prospect of saying bye to him :hit:hit:hit:hit

on a side note, I got the quarantine thing. :gig

Just cuz I am so sad and devasted had to post.... they came and took the rooster about 10 minutes ago. He knew something was up and refused to come never me. It was heartbreaking when I caught him, like he knew the jig was up. I didn't name him so I would not get attached but I guess that didn't work.:hit:th

I’m so sorry! It’s always hard to give pets away... :hugs

Thanks. At least I know he's going to a good home and get regular updates. But boy... it hurts. I need to win the lotto or something, buy some big plot of land and have all the chickens my heart desires. :fl
