Mine at 9 weeks are sleeping in the nesting box which isn't quite big enough due to a removable divider down the middle.

Wondering if I should remove it so that they can have a more comfy 4 chicken pile. Or if I should leave it as is to discourage them so they might move to the roost?

Any harm in letting them keep huddling?

Our bantams huddled for the longest time (and still do, occasionally, at 6 months old). I don't think it makes any difference whether they huddle or roost, and would just go with what they preference. (Once they begin laying, however, you don't really want them roosting overnight in nest boxes due to the mess it creates.)

Thanks, that's what I was worried about, them not breaking the habit when it came laying time.
