Do you put your quail outside? Mine are 2.5 weeks and getting too big for the brooder. Our temps are high 80's/ low 90's now.

i have my quail outside. 2.5 weeks sounds old enough to live in the great outdoors

2.5 weeks should be old enough in those temps depending on how cold it gets at night. If it's still in the high 60s, they should be fine.

It depends on your location and time of the year. I'm in Northern California and since it's been super warm for the past couple weeks I usually put them out at 2-2.5 weeks as they will stink up the house.

I put them out with 2,5 - 3 weeks (with two weeks, I remove the heatplate).
Temp should not drop at night lower than 64°F ... if it drops a bit lower than that, they will not die, just slowing down in growing

P.S.: ... My September 2019 hatch went out mid October with 4 weeks, temps at night were 45°F (constantly decreasing) ... they survived ... just start laying first with 14 weeks

P.S.: your chicks started hatching on the 29th of April, so they are 3 weeks+ old (23 days) ... you can put them outside!
