Talking about the rooster. I think he is a Cochin cross?
Curious because I am taking one of his chicks.

I can't see him very well in the photo, but I'm leaning towards him being an Orpington or Wyandotte mix. I'm not seeing feathering on his legs, so he may not be a Cochin mix.

I agree; I don't really see anything in him that says, Cochin.

He does have feathered feet, I've seen them up close! He was just being a punk and wouldn't let me take a bloody picture of him.

He was the worst little model in the world. I'll try and get a better photo. If he is an Orp/Wyndotte mix one parent was super tiny or a bantam. He is dwarfed by the Orp/Wyndotte sized hens in the pen.

If he has feathered legs, he probably does have some Cochin in him.
