have been offered this beauty as part of a chicken exchange (am also receiving some polish chickens..but he doesnt look polish to me lol!)

any idea what he is?
a cross of something and frizzle?

serama was my first thought, but when i asked the woman she said..well its the same size as a serama but not a serama so yes we have those in belgium but shes adament its not one (although i think she has those too)
im totally stumped so am going with a serama cross with something?

been looking up small chicken breeds....could it be a 'chabo' x frizzle? or do their tails have to be long and flowing?

He, could be a Japanese frizzle...I have some, but they are not barred...I do love him....

I have 3 Roosters who look almost exactly like this one... Mine are 1/2 Creel and 1/2 Black Frizzles.

He looks like a barred frizzled Japanese bantam. If he has short legs, that would pretty much seal the deal. He's a fabulous looking guy!
