Yes but you can OD on electrolytes, be especially careful of salt.

OP- I use that mix you have there and I use HALF of a TEASPOON to 1 gallon of water.

You can also OD on fat soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K.)

I would put a thermometer in there and check the temp. With all those little bodies in that small space, one heat lamp may be plenty.

I agree with this because I used this same vitamin & didn't understand how to mixs it. I gave my chickens way to much & thought I'd for sure killed them. But they are still alive & well.

Thanks for the help. They have plain water now and one light on. temp is around 80 before with 2 lights on it was 90-95. I only lost one over night and everyone else looks good. Everything I read said to keep them warm like 95 for 10 days then slowly lower it.

I would make the temp no higher than 90 and 5 degrees lower every week you can put 1 tsp sugar in 1 qt of water.

I think they are right way to hot. plus with all those chicks it is warmer...I would talk to the hatchery I would say the chick mortality rate average is a 1 to 2 for every order or so 25 + is way to many even with 150.
