Ok...I followed Pete55's method of hatching and weighed them. I dry hatched for the most part, and only added a bit of water throughout the incubation. My humidity generally remained around 30-35%. I candled some but not too frequently and I had 7 quit pretty early on...these were shipped so I wasn't surprised. 13 of 20 went into lockdown...2 I was pretty sure had already passed. Then I had 3 hatch. 2 had very, very dry membranes that were sucked over them...they had damaged air cells to begin with. 1 had yolk and looked about day 17. The rest were absolutely perfect. Their membrane didn't look dry, they didn't look too wet. They didn't have yolk. They never internally pipped...they just died. I have an LG with an auto turner and a computer fan that caused me temp problems when I went into lockdown because I had to adjust the temps after I took them out of the turner but the temps stabalized in a few hours. These eggs were a rocking and rolling all over the place then just stopped. Why would this happen??? Please give me some advice.
