What am I gonna be when I grow up??????????

Here are several pic's of my odd little chicken, It is almost 5 weeks old, It doesn't seem to be developing as fast as my other girls. It has feathered legs and some on the feet. I have looked at every breed on feathersite and I cannot come up with it's breed. It is from Mcmurray hatchery and could have been the rare breed extra that came with my order. I worry about this baby because the other chicks seem to pick on him/her

Removed my first guess because it looks like I was TOTALLY wrong!


It looks like it will be very pretty when it finishes getting it's feathers.

Look at all their different breeds in the feather-footed section to see if any look like him/her to you.

I was thinking brahma b/c of the light foot feathering... but I'm no expert!

That was my 2nd guess. Some type of Brahma. I just looked at the ones on their site and couldn't find any with coloring that matched up to suit me. Keep us updated on what it looks like as it gets more feathers!

It's definitely a dark brahma and though his wing feathering is throwing me off a bit, I believe it's a cockerel.
