Is he molting, or does his tail/rump always look like that? If so, I'd think Orpington. What color is his skin? Best place to check is the bottom of the foot.

Yes his tail/ rump always looks like that. His skin is white. Here is another closer up pic that I have of him.

It's nice to see one of the newer colors that actually looks like an Orpington

. So many of them sacrificed shape for color. He's a nice looking boy.
