What am I?

Today I was surprised with 6 adult hens and 1 rooster. My father in law brought them over from a family friends that had passed on. I am unsure of what they are or how old, but I may be leaning toward Rhode Island reds? I have my first flock that is 7 weeks now, but I bought them/researched their breed prior.
