I hatched 4 Serama chicks under a broody about 2 months ago. One was an odd one out. Hatched black, with a small crest and feathered feet. Teh breeder claimed possible Satin, since she got some Satin eggs mixed in with the Serama's at one point. Today she black with small flecks of golden leakage on her neck. She has a very small crest and beautiful feathers feet. Are we still thinking Satin? She's the same size as the other Serama's.
Also added some pics of the other Serama chicks. Opinions on color are welcome!

Your black one looks like a silkie cross and a pullet, though does not appear to be a proper satin.

Thats what I thought. Definitely wasn't counting on a pure bird there. Thank you!

4, bust also has the black skin. When I chatted with the breeder, she did claim to be getting some radome 4 toed Satins.

She actually looks like she may be part Marans as well with those bright orange eyes.

Satins should look like silkies in every way except for the feather type.
Otherwise it is just a silkie cross or silkie hybrid.

Thank you! Silkie cross? Definitely bantam. I've been thinking pullet for a bit. Just raised a Silkie cockerel and the comb development is much more pronounced by 6 weeks. Hers is still non existent.
Any ideas on color of the Serama's?
