For the little black one I'm leaning toward Australorp. I want one, they're so timid and sweet! Might be a barred rock, but even at 4 weeks you usually see some barring.

As for your other one... doesn't look too much like a barnyard mix, so we'll just have to wait to see what the experts have to say.

I 2nd the Australorp...not sure on the gold one...a mix of some sort

It's really hard to tell much from the pics that were provided. Can you maybe get some straight on level side pics of the chicks standing naturally?
