HI all, first post here on byc. I am new to the game of raising birds, and loving every minute of it. I purchased a group of sexlinks this spring and received a cockerel with them. But I have had a hard time determining what he is. any ideas?

Thanks for the quick response. I didn't even look into the wyandotte, but looking at the breeds page it makes sense. He is very mellow, never gets aggressive. I will have to do some searching to see if anyone has used SL Wyandotte with sexlinks and what comes out.

Well, the babies won't be sex-linked, they'll be "barnyard mix" or mutts, but they'll probably be mellow, friendly and great layers, and that's nothing to sneeze at.
