What am I?

Or to add to the above since some of you know about sexlinked birds. I have another hen hatched the same time as my solid black one with the pea comb. This one is black with the orange/rust color going throughout her feathers ~ but she has a regular single comb. I always thought a cross between a barred rock hen and RIR or NHR came out solid black in the hens. But I think one of you wrote that she would be black, but would get the orange color later on. Could this new roo be the product of her ~ or does she have to have come from my pea comb hen? Otherwise Im thinking I was given a cross breed when I was told otherwise. None of this really matters ~ just wondering.
