So I picked up a couple chicks from the local feed store and this little one caught my eye...



Now the staff at the place was less helpful because they had no idea what breeds they had..

I also picked these little cuties up too, I was told they are SLW....but I'm doubting it now, they look more like Barred Rocks. Let me know what you think!!

Hi, I also would like to ask what breed my late hen is/was. I could never find out. She was a bantam apparently, this is her at 2 yrs old.

barred rock or maran depending on leg color. Maran=Pale pink and slate, BR= yellow and black
