This chick was picked out of an assorted bin at the farm store. Approximately 5 weeks old. Can anyone tell me what kind of chick it is and gender? Any help would be appreciated!
I'd guess an Australorp since the toes appear to have a pink tinge rather than yellow. Giants have yellow skin, so it should be easy to tell by examining the soles of the feet. If they're yellow, it could be a Jersey Giant. If they're white/pale pink, it's likely an Australorp.
Ok guys, I've got another one for you. I have a beautiful BO named either "Nosey" or "Nosey Rosie"
I'm thinking roo, but a friend seems pretty confident it's a hen. So could you help me out please? I'm cool with either, he just follows use around wherever we go, my absolute favorite so far, by far!!
This is two other BO that are the same age as the one above and the comb and wattle are so much more pronounced on Nosey Rosie. They are 7 weeks old, by the way.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
