What am I?

Just a completely wild guess but it looks like a buff Orpington crossed with some kind of game breed. But that wouldn't explain her comb...

Yes I agree with not an Araucanas how ever after much searching I thinks it might be a cross between a Buff Orpingtons and a Wyandottes

Yeah... she is kind of round like one.

Thanks everyone for the help to try to figure out what she is. I just went to the coop and find an egg she laid. Is she an Easter Egger?

That egg makes her an easter egger by default. Her comb looks like what I've got when I've bred an easter egger to a straight combed bird. But with that pretty blue egg color, it wouldn't have been a brown egg layer, and from her rounded body type it wasn't most white egg layers, either.

Anyway, she's a pretty bird who lays nice looking eggs, sounds like a keeper to me!

donrae,

Thank you! She is a keeper. When I went to get her I was looking for a hen that laid a blue or green egg for my 4 yr old daughter. I was pretty sure she was not Araucana, but she was to pretty to not bring home.

My prayers are with you.
Linda
