The comb rules out EE. The coloring makes me thing Golden Laced Wyandotte. What color eggs? Brown, I presume?

Do you have any neighbors with chickens? She's so pretty, bet someone is missing the gal.
If no... I mean, I would keep her until I found her original home. You have other chickens, I assume?

We have neighbors a few houses down that have chickens but we've tried over there quite a few times, but plan on trying again. She is quite the pretty bird, she just wandered her way on over here. And yes we've recently acquired a small flock of our own

If she just wandered in, she's likely a mix.

If she starts laying and lays a darker brown egg, she could be a gold copper Marans, I think. I'm not hugely familiar with that breed, but you might google them and see if that matches your found girl. If that's what she is, someone's probably going to miss her--they're not exactly a common thing.

She is a pretty bird. I'd make an honest attempt at finding her owners, and if no one claims her I'd probably keep her. By "honest attempt", I mean checking with neighbors, possibly an ad in the paper or on the radio. Whatever you would hope someone would do if one of your animals went missing.
