Snakes eat quail too, trust me.

The first big chicken snake I killed in the quail pen this year, my daughter-in-law -in her quest to understand my eating things from the back yard- goes, "So will you eat the snake now?"

and as if that wasn't bad enough, "Could you cut the quail out of it and still eat it?" By then she had lived here 4 years, sigh.

they are not real smart a smallish havaheart and a little peanut butter will normally bring their demise

I was thinking of sprinkling coyote urine around the quail pen and then around the feeders for the rest of the birds...but I do have a havahart trap...but if I catch it, I'ma gunna kill it!!!
