Thanks, Yeah the pic of that one looks a little freakish. I just cant stand the fact of something being out there and not knowing what it is, especially so close to my pen.

City Clucks, that is what it looked like....and my chickens are well protected so they should be safe...but you never know. Thanks so much everyone for all your help. Now I need to figure out how the heck to get it away from here. We have been making sure not to leave any eggs out overnight, but it was here so I need to do something, I love my chickens. Great another night of no sleep I am guessing. Every noise I hear I am going to be at my bedroom window.

It says on the internet that opossums don't kill for there food but that is not true. Sadly to say something was killing off my silkies and I caught a opossum in the act one night. They definately do steal eggs and kill chickens.
They are very slow moving animals and will hiss or sometimes play dead.
