What are chooks?

G'day everyone

How funny! I had no idea that 'chook' was an Australian term!

I did't get the Bidies... The biddies and pullets: which one is the young and the adult one?

I usually call mine chickens but occasionally use "chooks" for the plural instead of saying "flock." My flock has geese and ducks in it... But the "chook" sound is one of the origins of the word. Yes, Australians refer to chickens as chooks, too.

LMAO is Laugh My [butt] Off. Except the "butt" is that other word related to a donkey.

Biddies, depending on where you live and were raised, can be hens or pullets or chicks.

OHHH!!! the world of Facebook makes 100% more sense now!

Biddy or Bitty is an old term usually refering to an older hen or in slang refers to an older woman like my user name. It.s also used as a name. my mom had a pullet she named Bitty.
