what are chukars?

im not getting any of them i just want to know what they are. Ive sen pictures of them, but are they friendly, and do they live in cages, coops or do people sometimes let them free in their yards? can they live with other poultry like chickens? do they fly

They are partridge.They are better raised on wire or a clean sand pen with a cover as they will fly away.They should not be kept with chickens as like any other game bird shouldn't.They will not free range they will fly,fast and long.
