I need as many different ways to say chicken (or hen) as possible.

Here are the ones I have

*Chicken
*Hen (if I'm referring to this age group)
*Pullet (if I'm referring to this age group)
*Chook

I need nick names, or slang words, for chickens. I'm writing a paper and I keep saying chicken over and over... Any other ways I can refer to them?

Well, collectively they are "poultry" and "flock"; there's always the generic "bird"

poulet is the french name for them. I see it a lot.. I guess that's what I get for living in my area

cockerel, cock. Fowl is pretty general..

Thanks! I didn't think of using fowl, flock, or even bird! It's really helpful, thanks sooo much!

Oh, and I also used poulets, it's in context anyway...
