If I'm preparing anything for dinner that might be of interest to them, they get a little too. Tonight it was bbq beef, rice, green beans, some popcorn from earlier in the day, half an apple from earlier in the day. I have a bowl in the counter I fill up and then take it out to them some time during the day. They love it when I come outside. I don't over due it, just a little bit.

Out of all the treats mine have gotten, I think they like clovers the best. Just the plain ol' white clover that grows in the grass. The area of the yard that they get to range in doesn't really have any. So I let it grow up at the edge of the front yard and pick it for them on occasion.
