You can feed raw or cooked, I have heard most people feed cooked in winter. My little peeps ( 8 weeks ) love grapes, tomatoes, worms. I dont feed them lots, mostly their crumbles.

Our chickens love cooked spaghetti. We've also given them apples, bananas, watermelon and canteloupe. Most of them go for cheese, too. Veggies don't go over as well. Gonna try plain yogurt tomorrow. I've heard they go nuts for it.

I keep checking to see what they like. Broccoli is ick. Apples are good. Strawberries are yum. Bananas are the best so far, a couple of enterprising young ladies have learned that I am inattentive while dispensing banana bits, and if you jump/fly up you can grab banana out of my other hand! Spinach is good but only in the garden so you can peck at the leaves and get pieces off, loose leaves are no good. (bad chickens in the garden. finished the fence today.)Scrambled eggs are always a big hit. Lettuce good, yogurt good, both after a couple of offerings so if they don't jump all over something wait a week and offer it again. The most powerful lure is a mealworm. With mealworms I've gotten my chickens to come when I call them, and 2 of them hop up onto my hand (arm now that they are 10 weeks old!) when I say "hup!".
Check out this awesome list that got me trying the various stuff on it, much to my hen's delight.
