What are good ways for dealing with depression?

Get up and get busy. For me physical activity gets me "outside of my head." Stinking thinking is addictive and non productive. Doing those jobs you have been putting off can also lend a feeling of accompishment and well being. See a doctor. Something may be organically wrong, and medication may be in order. Seeing a doctor is just good common sense. Take control of your life. My wife's family has a history of depression. At least eleven people that we can identify over the years. Wife and daughter are on medication and doing fine. Life is too fleeting to be spent miserably. I truly hope that today is a good day for you.
