Just wanted to update that we have 5 chicks and one last one trying to zip!!!

Our next hatch should be Mother's Day...I'll let you all know what we end up with

Our second batch started hatching a day early and Saturday night we had 2 chicks. We're up to a total of 5 from the first batch (there was a 6th born with a protrusion from his butt and we lost him) and 7 from the newest with a few more new pips still

Well, we ended up with a total of 16 chicks out of 34 eggs.

Not bad for beginners with a few small issues along the way! We did lose one chick...I think he didn't absorb his yolk??? Anyways, the others are a week and a day, and almost 2 weeks. They're growing like crazy and have gotten SO big!
