what are my girls doing?

Ok I have several different breeds of chickens I noticed last week that my barred rock my Dominique and 1 of my silkies all of a sudden started to lay down on the ground when I walk up to them these chickens will be 6 months old on April 16. I have also noticed that the roosters are mounting them now to does this mean I might actually get my 1st egg I have 12 hens and all are the same age so an egg would be nice sooner or later.

I sure do hope so I can't wait till I find my 1st egg its been a long 6 months waiting I have noticed that some of them have there combs turning red and some of them still have pink combs so maybe a couple more weeks of buying store bought eggs we will see.
