What are my packing peanuts?

I love mountain home, except for the wind!! Right now we have a 2 foot snow drift on our back porch. My little chickies are warm inside our bathtub! I know where rupert and rexburg are, there is a nice ski place by rupert.

we are stationed here, but we transfered over to the ANG a couple of years ago and now we are never going to leave here! We have family that lives in Wassila! how crazy!

I don't know what we are going to do with our roo's. If they are mean i don't think i will have a problem killing them, if they are nice maybe i will sell them on craigslist.

if they are black sex link,, the white dot on the head tells you they are boys,, im not sure if it works tha same way with BR's

I got 12 BR's from Ideal with 7 packing peanuts that ended up being RIR's. that chick in the picture looks like the BR chicks I got. Mine are now 8 weeks old. I ended up with one rooster among the BR's. I asked for all pullets. The RIR packing peanuts ended up being 3 roosters and 4 pullets. It was about 6-7 weeks before I could start telling the difference between the pullets and roosters.

they look like BR's. i think if there is more than one spot it's male, one solid spot female.
