What are my silkies?

Hey, I recently ordered a bantam grab bag from Meyer's and have these two two week old silkies I am trying to ID. I believe they are silkies as they each have furry legs and five toes. Thanks for the help!

First, this is Blue. I told my two year old that I thought it was a blue silkie, hence the name:
Second, my four year old has named this one Orange Blossom. I thought that it was a buff silkie, but it has black spots.

Thanks for the reply. I am not sure it would be a splash as that hatchery does not have splash silkies.

splash and buff

splash is created by breeding two blues together.

As said above when you breed two blues together you will get blue, black, and splash offspring.

There is not a buff splash color that I have ever heard of, where did you hear of a buff splash color?

If they have blue silkies, then they have splash. When you order blue silkies (or blue of any breed), you will get a mixture of blue, black, and splash.

Ok, thank you. I did not realize that. I did order a blue silkie and they only had pics of the solid blue ones on the site. Kind of deceptive. I also ordered the bantam grab bag though and got a bantam welsummer which died at one day old, another one of the silkies that is in the second pic which died at one day old, a polish which was DOA, and a mille de fleur. So, I do know for sure that one of those two is a blue silkie (or a blue splash I guess??).
