I am wondering what this is on Nugget's eye she has had since she was a chick it doesn't seem to bother her though

Production reds, hatchery RIR's are one in the same... Typically they are just a lighter version of a Rhode island red because they've had stuff crossed into them. I believe new hampshire red if what i read was correct, but then they can still get white feathers so..

A production Red can be a cross of a Rhode Island Red, New Hamshire Red & a Leghorn. However like DT said it can all so be just a cross between the RIR and the NHR. It depends on the hatchery..
