What are Signs Of A Broody Hen ?

My Hen Is Currently on 7 eggs , and puffs up when a chicken Passes By Her But Is Normal When A Rooster is By Her ? Is She Broody Or No ?

If she stays 24/7, getting up once a day, she is probably broody. I don't think they see the rooster as the threat that the other hens can be. Some roos guard the setting hen and even help raise the chicks.
