what are some fun chicken treats?

spaghetti soup - every couple of weeks they get this gruel made out of buttermilk, yogurt, and spaghetti. Looks so gross.

Mine love scrambled egg and chunks of meat (cooked). Also spinach is a favorite, and peas and green beans.

if you cook the eggs, apparently they can't recognize them as eggs, so it's OK. You just don't want to feed them raw eggs or they figure out that they are tasty and they can start eating their own eggs. Hardboiled is supposed to be fine. Mine don't seem to like it (won't touch it actually), but I've heard many chickens love it.

My chickens love to eat cooked elbow noodles, scrambled eggs and a can of mixed veggies tossed in - mix all and sprinkle with Garlic powder (good for immune system) Its bitter cold here and they LOVE this concoction while its still warm <3 Such spoiled chickens ....

One group of ours love hanging cabbage while another group of ours prefer hanging cauliflower! We hang them from bunge cords and watch em bounce it around and get bopped in the head! Is that chicken abuse??? lol must not be ... they keep comin back for more!

Ours love plain spaghetti. I usually cook a little extra and give a wad of it from my hand. They toss it around and make a mess, but never leave a scrap of it. Its especially fun when they toss their heads and it gets draped over their combs or backs. Chicken 'n dumplings!

If you hang a piece of italian bread in the coop they will peck at it and will also jump up!
