What are some good (and docile) brown egg layers?

Wow, for me the choice would be my gold comets. Inquisitive but sweet and docile. I have a small flock of about 20 and they never quarrel and love to be hand fed. I even have one nosy little missy that likes to ride on my shoulder. My wife compares it to a pirate's parrot!
