What are the benefits for letting my chicken eat grass?

My 2 chickens eat lot of soft grass is it Okay to let them eat it? These were one month old when i got them, I Also give them additional rice and some bread..They are 4 months old!!

As long as you're not using weedkiller or pesticides on the grass, it should be fine. The benefits to grass is that it has vitamins and fiber that are good for chickens, and this can improve the taste of eggs, too. It can also improve the taste of chickens themselves.
Thanks for replying me, i dont use any pesticides or weedkillers at all, its early spring time here, the whole grass it not yet green. I'm from Indian administered Kashmir.
