So, I have a broody hen, who decided to abandon her egg at about day 14 maybe day 16. When I went and checked on her it was stone cold, she was in the other henhouse, I moved her straight back on to the egg. I candled today- day 20- it is clearly fertile, but there is light still coming through underneath the airsac- im pretty sure its not the airsac- its quite a yellow colour. I cant detect movement, but I never can that far into incubation. I've had this happen before, but earlier in the cycle- about day 7 and still get excellent hatches. So, what are the chances? Sounds promising, you don't have anything to lose by trying!
