What are the chances of a tiny egg...

Hatching.. I mean Button quail eggs are already tiny.. But this one(not nearly a fart egg) but a lil smaller than a regular size egg. How good are the odds that it will hatch? Its on day 17...

have you candled it? sometimes fart eggs or smaller eggs (similar in size to a fart egg) have no yolk, and are just the albumin.

your best bet would be to candle it. if there is something living and growing inside, it should hatch

if you have a tractor supply nearby, they have a 2 dollar, 9-LED flashlight that works AWESOME, just as well as any candler, IMO. just hold the egg in the circle made by putting your pointer finger and thumb in a circle, and place the flashlight underneath. you can make the circle of your fingers smaller or larger, and should be able to candle any sized egg.
