So if there in condensation in the incubator this will drown the chicks in the shell??

It can...water can condense in the air cll, and then when the chick pips the air cell, there's water where air is supposed to be...read through this section of this forum, and you will learn TONS about this...

Well I run my homemade bator at 65-75% Humidity (for hatching) but there usually is condensation that collects on my viewing window...I have had several die in the shell (before they pip) And now I am wondering if this is why... do you think this is why?

Condensation can be caused by several things. Without seeing your setup here is an initial stab:

Not enough fresh air being introduced to the incubator. Need to open vents. Chicks are dying from lack of oxygen.

Hygrometer is not accurate and you are running at a higher % humidity than you think.

These are just shots in the dark. Post a picture in a new thread and explain the issue. I am sure you will get plenty of help. (I don't want to high-jack this thread)

...but back to the topic at hand. Two of the smaller eggs are now confirmed to be growing us little chickies. One other small one and a large brown egg were definitely not and have been removed.

That leaves us with a light green egg. The light can't seem to penetrate it. Is this a general problem with EEs? Or do I have a rotten one ready to explode? Would a stronger light source allow me to see inside it's eggy goodness?

my wife wants me to ask if it could hurt the growing embryos if she uses an old bouncy treadmill in the same room?
