What are the chances?

So, as some of you know, I’ve recently ordered chicks from Meyer hatchery.
We ordered four chicks from the feather footed bantam assortment, which includes the chance of getting Cochins, braumas, d’uccles, and silkies. It says that we are guaranteed to get three different breeds. I’m really hoping to get a silkie, but when I checked to see if we could order any silkies just in case we didn’t, all of them were sold out.
What I’m wondering is if there is still a chance to get a silkie in this assortment.
Any information will be appreciated! Thanks in advance!!

Odds are low as silkies are hard to find this time of year, but you never know.

Hey guys! Update!!!
My chicks are five days old now and they are getting rambunctious already! I’ve received two MFD’s, two porcelain d’uccles, one mottled Cochin, and........... take a look at the image below!

This is my silkie! Her name is Fluff Butt, but we call her Fluffy B.
I am so excited that we got her/possibly maybe him! She’s very quiet and her feather are very even so we’re leaning towards her being a pullet.
Anyway, just wanted to tell/show you the great news! Any pictures of your silkies would be very appreciated if you want to show them off!

Just goes to show just because a breed is listed as sold out, doesn't mean you won't blessed enough to receive one in an assortment! What a perfectly BEAUTIFUL little Silkie! I'm confident you will love him/her as much as I do my 11.

I hope you don't plan to keep the silkie with the turkeys? I definitely don't keep them together past 6 weeks or you could end up with chicken bonded turkeys which isn't good. Otherwise they are adorable.

We were planning to, actually....little Schnitzel was an extra to achieve the minimum, and there's only room in the coop for two turkeys. You think this will be a problem down the road?

The only time I raised chicks and poults together the poults killed a rooster at sexual maturity. You may be okay if the poults are hens but if they are toms they can kill chickens. Even my turkey hens will chase and harass my chickens when I let the turkeys out. I'm always thankful my turkeys have their own shed and run.

Poults will bond with the chickens and they think and act like they are the same species. Chickens don't understand turkey language and can get in trouble because of it.

Turkeys are big strong birds that are also emotional. Fights can last days, and they don't just let things go. I wouldn't want turkeys with a silkie. Your birds, your choice of course. I personally have seen what turkeys can do. They are great birds but best kept with their own species.

Wow....so much to take in. If I had known all this, I probably wouldn't have included a Silkie in the group. Others on a thread I started in the turkey section of this forum didn't mention the potential dangers.

The turkey varieties we bought are heritage, the mature size of which, thankfully, won't be significantly as "huge" as that of the BB. Unfortunately, though, we don't have a separate setup for them. All our birds free-range and cohabit together. However, do you suggest that once Schnitzel is old enough to thrive without artificial heat, I put it in with my 4-week-old chicks to prevent further bonding with the poults?
