First time having chickens and was under the naive impression I was guaranteed all girls because I was told they were sexed when the Easter Bunny brought them. We already have one obvious rooster out of the bunch but these four have yet to be determined. They are about 12 weeks old.

Hagrid is the Black Austalorp
Hermoine is the Ameraucana
Luna is the Buff Rock with her tail up
Fleur is the Buff Rock with her tail down
Thanks in advance for the help

All pullets, but those Buff's look like Orpingtons. Nevermind, they have yellow legs. DOH!

Thank you. They might be Orpingtons. I remember they were Buff something? Tried to search that out.

Thank you. I am relieved. We gave away the Rhode Island Red named Ginny who became Gimmy when he cockadoodle-dooed two mornings ago. He went to a wonderful free range chicken farm down the road where he will be surrounded by plenty of ladies. I had two very sad little girls though.

Well one of the Buff's still does not have those hen feathers so I am starting to think one still might turn out to be a roo. I will take more pics and post.

So the top picture is the one (Fleur) in question. She has none of those fan type feathers for a hen tail that the others have. They are the same age.

This is Luna. She has the hen look to her

Why are her feathers so different then considering their age and breed are the same?

Not sure about that. But if it were a roo, it would have started crowing by now (or tried), it would have the "rooster tail feathers" coming in at this point, it would have saddle and pointed hackle feathers, and a larger comb and wattles. Yours displays none of this.
