What are the more rare breeds of geese?

Looking to hatch some rare breeds simply just because we love hatching, and would love to be able to see the more rare breeds grow.


So, I have a small idea of the more common breeds, but what is considered rare, or hard to hatch?

In the US, if I had to guess, I'd say white Africans are the most rare, followed by Cotton Patch and Buff Dewlap Toulouse. Dewlaps are notorious for being hard to hatch.

Wow, I have never heard of Dewlaps or cotton patch. I'm way new to this whole hatching thing, but so far, I'm doing great! Maybe I could get my hands on some of the more rare ones and try my luck on hatching. My children and I enjoy turning the eggs and caring for the newborns! But after the first week, whoever wants them, come get em LOL I just want to hatch eggs LOL

Except for my first 3. They are our babies, and part of the family for a while.
