What are the requirements of a hatchery?

Hi I am 15 yrs old and would like to open a hatchery after I get out of high school. I have blueprints of the perfect hatchery that I drew with my own plans, I have over 60 breeds of chickens and I have 100 total but they keep growing in numbers, I know I will need more chickens to breeds them. What are the legal requirements to open one? What would be a good start up cost? I know my chicks would sell because I know lots of people that would buy from me in my town, some of them already do.

Legal requirements vary by location, you have to consult your specific State, County and Municipal laws... Federal Laws are minimal if any that might apply, but some states really put a big emphasis on being NPIP certified if you plan to ship/deliver to their State...
