What are the risks for combining my chicks?

I don't think it's an issue. I've raised standards with bantams. If you are using a heat plate or a mama heating pad, make sure they have access from all directions, so no one gets caught in the back and can't get out.

Side note, since you were spot on about my little naked neck, do you agree this silkie is likely male?

I have absolutely no experience with silkies.
You give me too much credit. My favorite rooster of all time, was named Doris.
I do think we mostly second guess ourselves. If you believe he is a male, you are probably right.
My instincts are usually right about my own chicks 99% of the time, even when I post photos and people disagree. So, I've come to the conclusion, that It's not usually how my own chicks look, but how they act, that I base my opinion on.
