What are these? All are about 10 weeks.

I think that's a dark cornish too. They grow pretty fast- so she may seem to be the same size as your other hens until they completely fill out. I love mine- one of the only girls to go broody this year.

I agree on dark cornish; I was also going to say light brahma, but since the legs are not feathered, it must be one of the many other breeds with columbian colouring. Pretty as the photo is, it's not a good one for identifying leg colour or body type, things pretty necessary for breed ID.

Yes, I know - not the best photo of #2. But, in my defense, she would not cooperate in the least. That was the closest I could get to her without her running away. I may wait another month or so and get another photo of her then.

Intersting on the dark cornish. I was sad at first, but then another post said not to expect her to be like a cornish x. We'll see what she does over the next month or so also. She really doesn't look cornishy to me at all. She is very slender and her legs aren't short, but I suppose that may all change as she gets older.

Thanks for the help!

Cornish are an exhibition and (typically) meat breed. They do not have the health issues that plague the cornish cross. Cornish can live long, healthy lives. In other countries they are called Indian Game.
