What are these bantam pullets?

My neighbor bought 8 bantam pullets, but doesn't know what breed. Do you? They are around 18 weeks, I think.

Uh,oh. They better be bantams, but now I'm a little worried. Here's one of his chickens with my standard size barred rock. I don't think these pictures accurately reflect the difference in size. I can hardly pick up my BR, because she's too big for my hands to get around, but the little chicken feels like a nerf football.

That is because sexlinks are naturally smaller than barred rocks those are not bantams

Your red sex links are still growing, they’ll get almost as big as that barred rock.

Those are not bantams. Sex links are naturally smaller but not bantam sized.

My Golden Comet weighs about 4lbs. My Barred Rock about 7 lbs. There is def a size difference. They will be smaller, but not bantam sized.

I will say that I adore my Golden Comet! She's super friendly and curious, and she lays a TON of eggs.
